About
Australia Youth Film Festival
is a non-profit here to find, celebrate, and empower Australia’s next generation of creators. We’re a free-to-enter film festival for Australia’s youth aged 15-24 years. It is based on its sibling festival, the New Zealand Youth Film Festival (NZYFF). Every year, we offer coveted awards and run special events for participants. This includes once-in-a-lifetime experiences for nominees such as our Industry Day as well as a live-streamed red carpet Award Ceremony. Thousands of dollars worth of awards are up for grabs, and any* type of entry is accepted!
How It Works
-
Step 1
Create any type* of film, documentary, video advert, animation or music video. This can even be for a school or university assessment. See what awards we have on offer here.
-
Step 2
Enter your finished work to the Australia Youth Film Festival for free by our entry deadline. Enter as many entries as you’d like. It’s simple, and you can do that here.
-
Step 3
Nice! If your work is nominated, you’ll be invited to attend our Festival’s acclaimed events. Meet the industry, special guests, other nominees, and potentially win an award!
